Apex 4.0 Chart Filter to see Series

    carlos_tos

I have an application with various charts all with various series.

When I have line charts all series are created in one query and I can fiddle with the PLSQL generation of the query to implement filtering.

When I have Scatter charts the series are created one by one with its own query.

So If I want to filter on of the series so that it doesnt show I cannot.

The Series does not have a Display Condition Definition, so I am stuck.

Anyone know what can be done here?

      Thank You

      Carlos

No I cannot see a solution for me here.

I have for example a scatter chart with 4 series each one representing a product.

I have a filter ITEM by product.

If ITEM is NULL I see all products in scatter chart.

If ITEM contains a value then I want scatter chart to only show me one series representing that product. (This I dont know how to do)

If in the definition of the series I Apex had a Display Condition field then that woyuld be solved but it doesnt, so I dont know what to do.

          Thank you

If I'm not misunderstanding you try the following solution:

            select product_name

            from products

            where product_type = decode(:ITEM,null,product_type,:ITEM)
