Tabular Form - value autopopulate onchange

Sakthi Explorer
Currently Being Moderated

Hi All,

I am using,

Apex - 4.2.2.00.11

Oracle - 10g

I have a tabular form, with two columns with data populated on page load,

JobNoStart DateDuration
105-Nov-2013 12.00 AM3
205-Nov-2013 03.00 AM4
305-Nov-2013 02.00 AM2
405-Nov-2013 01.00 AM1

The concept of the above table and data is as follows,

Job 1 is starting at 05-Nov-2013 12.00 AM

So, for all the subsequent jobs, the Start Date must get autopopulated by the summation of first job's Start Date + current job's Duration.

This will happen in a DB procedure and loaded on page load everytime, but later on after page load, if user modifies first Job's Start Date then the reamining dates must also get modified automatically.

We can do this only with the help of Javascripts or AJAX.

But totally blank and not having any idea how to achieve this.

Please help me on this and suggest with the possible ways to do this.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Sakthi.
