We are going to move our classic asp pages from windows server 2003 to windows server 2008. We were thinking of using visual studio with an oracle connector as a development tool instead of currently using textpad. I know we can set IIS to run in classic mode so that will make conversion much easier. I am plannig on using web deploy to migrate everything from server to server. My question is: What are the changes (if any) to oracle database connection strings in the new windows environement? Currently I am using the following lines in asp to create a connection.
Set dbSession = CreateObject("OracleInProcServer.XOraSession")
Set OraDatabase = dbSession.OpenDatabase(DataMart_Server, conn_string, 0)
Set oraData = OraDatabase.CreateDynaset(sqlstr,0)
