Are these members children of a single parent or desc of a parent? If so, you can use a template with metadata loop (depending on what version you are on).
That's great, i thought it was only for HFM and I see that now we have it for Planning from 184.108.40.206
I am on the 220.127.116.11 version, can you please advice on how to use the metadata loop. I tried creating one and using it, but it not working.

I can show a simple example based on Demo Basic.
Create a template called mloop.
on the DTP (Design Time Prompt] tab, add a DTP named mem of type member
Now drag and drop a metadata loop in to the flow between the begin and end
Now, For the Year dimension, select or type "Year" in the member column.
For the same row, pick [mem] on the Variable column.
For the same row, Select IDESCENDANTS as the function
So what you are saying here is to enumerate all the descendants of year and on each iteration, assign the member to the DTP called mem.
Now grag and drop a formula in to the metadata loop.
On the destination pick the DTP mem and on the source type in 100.
Save the template
Now create a rule add this template in to it. Look at the script.
"Year" = 100;
"Jan" = 100;
"Feb" = 100;
"Mar" = 100;
"Qtr1" = 100;
"Apr" = 100;
"May" = 100;
"Jun" = 100;
"Qtr2" = 100;
"Jul" = 100;
"Aug" = 100;
"Sep" = 100;
"Qtr3" = 100;
"Oct" = 100;
"Nov" = 100;
"Dec" = 100;
"Qtr4" = 100;
The four functions that we support currently are IDESC, DESC, ICHILDREN and CHILDREN.
