"@beehiveonline.oracle.com" distribution lists are the groups that are set up on BeehiveOnline. Every group has an email address so is effectively a DL. However, BeehiveOnline is a secure system so there is no "subscribe" option. You have to get the owner of the group to add you to it to receive the emails. The groups are not normally visible so if you know it is there then go back tp whoever sent you the information and request access.
is it the GROUP or the Workspace name to be used as a distribution list?
If it is the workspace, will the system populate the message to all users that have access to the workspace, granted via groups?
user Daniel is member of the Group_ABC
workspace_XYZ has the following memebers
a) all users of Group_ABC
b) additionally user1
I send an email to:
Do the users Daniel and user1 receive the message?
or would I need to send an email to Group_ABC@beehiveonline.oracle.com ?
OK, some background.
The group has an email address - sending email to the Group_ABC@beehiveonline.oracle.com will mean every member of the group geta copy of the email forwarded to them.
The workspace has an email address - sending email to the workspace_XYZ@beehiveonline.oracle.com will mean that the email will appear in the INBOX of the Workspace_XYZ. It will not be forwarded to the Workspace members.
The only way we have found on beehiveonline to email all the particiopants - as we lack the visibility of the internal .Participant groups - is to create an event - invite all the paerticipants and add the message to the event body - save the event and all participants will get the invitation/message.
