we are using the AutoVue hotspots API to create hotspots on documents in AutoVue viewer.
The method used is setHotSpotHandler() and is working good.
However we are concerned about one thing: On displaying a large drawing (mass plan) or text files such as PDF, the user cannot know where are the hotspots unless the user put his mouse over these elements.
In the hotspot definition we only have the hovering color (i.e. DEFINITION_COLOR=(0,0,127,32) for example)
Is there a way to tell a hotspot to show with a different background color or something even when the mouse is not over the element?
You can highlight with any color and even zoom-to individual hotspots by invoking the JVue.performHotSpot() method.
window.document.applets["JVue"].performHotSpot(definitionKey, hotspotKey, "Highlight", "HOTSPOT_COLOR=" + color);
