OEM Ops Center 12c vs Oracle VM Manager 3.2

      Hi All,

I would need your advice / comments, which would help me in selecting the right management tool for VM Server SPARC provisioning. Initial plan is to design and deploy OEM Ops Center 12c, however I came to know that there is an existing environment in place Oracle VM Manager 3.2.4, OEM 12c for provisioning and managing X-Series servers. Oracle VM Manager 3.2 and above supports VM Server SPARC and x86 is my understanding. Do I need to use the existing environment OVMM for managing SPARC servers or to go for new Ops Center 12c.

      Things to consider

1 - Does Oracle VM Manager 3.2.4 have all the capabilities when compared to Ops Center 12c

2 - Functionality of Ops Center vs OVMM for P2V and V2V migration of legacy systems

3 - Does Oracle VM Manager have capabilities like Hardware monitoring, Performance management.. etc

4 - Container and branded zone support for OVMM

5 - Pros and cons for Ops Center vs OVMM.
