I would like to trace system by a sql_id, but to have results for that sql_id into a specific/given file.
Is it possible? I know how to trace sqlid on a system level, but don't want to search for it among hundreds of files when needed..
it's 11.2g database..
might solution be OS dependent?
How do I ask a question on the forums?
yes, I know the sql_id, and I would like to leave db running for a few hours/days even maybe, and then to come back and see the timings for the specific query..
now, if I'll do that, I'll get tons of trace files and I'll need at least a few hours to search through them...
if I'll try to do the same for the several sql_id's, I'm doomed to a failure just because of this repetitive search for each of it (no, I cannot use grep in win)..
therefore, I'm searching for a convenient solution that would (i.e.) put all trace info for a specific sql_id into a single file..
