this should work... to troubleshoot, make it simpler. Simple (dummy) calcscripts in all three applications, no variables. See if it works.
Then bring in the variables, repeat it.
Could be many things, from security to variables merging..
Did you ever get it working? We are having the same issue. Planning 18.104.22.168 and the rule set contains rules from 2 different apps. It runs fine if you have Admin rights! Of course we can't give admin rights to every user. This seems like a huge bug to me.
Adding that I have simplified the rule set to just be one rule, from the other app. It won't run. So I think there is some kind of bug where it's not able to cross over to the other app unless you have admin rights.
So, it seems to be a run time prompt issue. Planner users can run a ruleset that contains a rule run against another app, if that rule doesn't have any RTP. If it does have RTP, then you need to be an admin to run the rule. We have opened a ticket with Oracle.
Agree with Jasmine , Its known bug and we also raise the SR for the same issue but didn't get response yet.
Development has been able to duplicate this on a 22.214.171.124 and is working to release a patch.
Just curious, When can we expect a release date for 501 Planning Patch?
We have recently upgraded our system to 126.96.36.199 and facing that RTP issue in the CALC MANAGER.(Couldn't able to run BR's from two different application in one Rule set).
AS per ORACLE support person, The .501 patch for Hyperion Planning made available by end of August tentatively .
The Hyperion Performance Management Patchset 188.8.131.52.500 is out. It is on the download section Hyperion Performance Management and BI Downloads
I am not sure about a 501 patch. You need to login and see in the support site.
Slated for End of September.
