If someone can help me, please, I need to know how can I prevent the Parent Entity to receive the sum of Value stored in Eliminations. I have a hierarchy in which the Elimination is calculated for the child Entity and also for the parent Entity. The amount stored in the parent Entity, intersecting with [Eliminations] is the value of Eliminations calculated on the Parent Entity plus the sum of Eliminations calculated at the Children of this Parent Entity.
I need the Parent Entity to receive only the amount calculated for it, without the sum of the eliminations calculated for its children.
Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks in advance.
Although what you are planning sounds very exotic to me and I don't exactly understand why you would like to "override" the elimination produced in consolidation, there are two ways that come into mind:
Good luck! :-)
I am not sure why you have this issue.
If your consolidation rules are correct, the ICP eliminations should be done on the first common parent and any other group elimination journals should be done on the entity that has the ownership percentage. Are you sure that the ownership percentages are correct?
