    asmcmd help

    apps_db_admin

      Hi,

What will be the asmcmd equivalent of du -sh *. I would like to know the size of all directories under a dir/DG using a single command.

      Thanks.

It's almost similar.. "du <Directory/DG>". Here is an example

          $ asmcmd -p

          ASMCMD [+] > lsdg

          State    Type    Rebal  Sector  Block       AU  Total_MB  Free_MB  Req_mir_free_MB  Usable_file_MB  Offline_disks  Voting_files  Name

          MOUNTED  EXTERN  N         512   4096  1048576     40946    39073                0           39073              0             N  SAN_POC/

          MOUNTED  EXTERN  N         512   4096  1048576     20473    18047                0           18047              0             N  TEMP/

          MOUNTED  NORMAL  N         512   4096  1048576     61419    60493            20473           20010              0             Y  VOTE_DG/

          ASMCMD [+] > cd san_poc

          ASMCMD [+san_poc] > du .

          Used_MB      Mirror_used_MB

             1777                1777

          ASMCMD [+san_poc] > du +temp

          Used_MB      Mirror_used_MB

             2332                2332

For any help on asmcmd type help, or "help <command>"

          ASMCMD [+san_poc] > help du

          Regards,

              Simply use "asmcmd> du <directory name>"
