I have a lot of questions, fist of all the FAIL:

FAIL  ASM Check There should be no duplicate parameter entries in the ASM init.ora(spfile) file  ???

      and

Local listener init parameter is not set to local node VIP ?

I made a clean Instalaltion ,why should there be duplicated parameter ?   and what about the  local listener init parameter ?

      Thanks for your help

          Hi

Are you using the RacCHek or the new ORAchk ?

ORAchk - Oracle Configuration Audit Tool (Doc ID 1268927.2)

ORAchk replaces the popular RACcheck to support a wider range of products.

          Regards

Hi, is doesn't matter, both raccheck and orachk  say "FAIL  ASM Check There should be no duplicate parameter entries in the ASM init.ora(spfile) file " and  I do not know what parameter it is... Regards Michael

In the ASM instance you could run a CREATE PFILE FROM SPFILE  and then check the contents of the PFILE  (However, Oracle might remove the duplicate parameter !)

For "Local listener init parameter is not set to local node VIP ?"  Warning:

Oracle Installer should make local_listener correctly for you during installation but this is what you can do:

Check this link to see default Local listener (HOST should be local instance VIP so you must set there separate value for each node)):

                LOCAL_LISTENER

Then check your local listener for example with this SQL (you have to run this separately for all of your instances to check all instances values.):

                SQL> show parameter local_listener

And setting value for certain instance for example this way :

                SQL> alter system set local_listener=' (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=<your local VIP IP>)(PORT=1521))))' scope=BOTH SID='OCRL1'

                SQL> alter system set local_listener=' (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=<your local VIP IP>)(PORT=1521))))' scope=BOTH SID='OCRL2'
