Go into the physical model, and check out the primary key properties, and the Using Index page.
When modeling a table with 3 columns as PK, engineering from Logical Model to Oracle 10g Relational Model, then visualizing the DDL script there is a CREATE UNIQUE INDEX section being created automatically. I could not find anywhere to replace the Unique Index name, since I get the following ERROR message:
-- ERROR: Index name length exceeds maximum allowed length(30)
Object names can not be longer than 30 characters.
CREATE UNIQUE INDEX L011GPLA_CODGPR_CODANR_CODPAN_IDX ON L011GPLA
Are you saying that Data Modeler created that 33 character index name?
Or are YOU trying to create it?
The Data Modeler created that with 33 character. Maybe I am missing some configuration rules in somewhere...

Then, IMHO, that is a bug. An Oracle tool should not be creating objects with names that violate Oracle's naming conventions.
