what exactly you are doing and what is the source and how did you designed it?. Why can't you convert it to upper/lower case wherever you use it
Thanks for replying AJ.
I am new to the foryum, so am a bit green here.
I have designed the report analysis to search for a field in a database by way of a filter. I have not used SQL query, but the OBIEE filters in an alalysis. This was built by using the 'Criteria' tab and 'Results' tab
"Note Subject" IS EQUAL TO / IS IN "MOP Completed"; "MOP Reviewed"; "MOP Amended"
"Date Modified" IS "Prompted"
The 'stacked vertical graph' shows the following in the legend and as a colour (I am unable to upload an image due to restrictions):
I would like the output graph to ignore the case completely and display only the following:
Here is the image

What you can do here,
1)You should convert your column to either all upper case or lower case.
something like this.
Upper(columnName) or Lower(Column Name)
2)Then in the filter for the report .use the same function for the column. Users will be either typing the value or selecting the value from a prompt
3)In the chart legend enter the Name like whatever you want( Init cap)
