Appreciate having your feedback about how to Audit SQL transactions in a 3 tier architecture (with Weblogic).
Our point is that the Audit feature provides useful details in a client-server arch. but we are lacking these details in a 3 tier arch. since the user's info (OSUSER, PC name, login/logout time ...etc) is still unknown.

There are a few different approaches. I'd start with the Preserving User Identity in Multitiered Environments chapter of the Database Security guide
My personal preference would be to use proxy users if that is a feasible option in your environment.
