Can we create our own connector/data apadator in the current version on Policy Automation on Cloud?
What are you wanting to integrate with? As you will have seen in the documentation, there's out-of-the-box support for integrating with RightNow. Search for "RightNow" in the OPA Cloud User Guide: http://documentation.custhelp.com/euf/assets/devdocs/february2014/PolicyAutomation/en/Default.htm
If you're looking at something other than RightNow, then take a look at the AssessService: http://documentation.custhelp.com/euf/assets/devdocs/february2014/PolicyAutomation/en/Default.htm#Browse/Role/Developer/Web_Service/Web_Service_Technical_Reference/Assess_service.htm
To add to Jasmine's answer, August 2014 release of Oracle Policy Automation Cloud Service is planned to include the ability to create your own connector/data adapter for OPA interviews. In the meantime, you can use the Assess Service for integrating rules authored in OPA with any other application.
We do have plans to integrate OPA on cloud service with Sales Cloud and want to leverage the Interviews.
How can I get access to August 2014 release of Oracle Policy Automation Cloud Service when it's available? Do we need to contact the RightNow sales rep to upgrade the current instance or can we request for a standalone sandbox?
All existing OPA Cloud Service sites are updated to the new release automatically when it becomes available.
Demo sites are upgraded first, followed by customer test sites, then production sites.
I've just received my OPA in the cloud from Oracle but I don't seem to be able to make the interviews work... I have created the project in OPM for Cloud and uploaded it to the HUB. Then, in the HUB, I have deployed the project. When I click the link "start interview" (link found in Projects > Summary) I get a "Error 404 Not Found".
This environment was given to me by Oracle and I thought it was ready to go. What am I missing? Any pre-configuration needed?
Thank you in advance.
I figured it out with the help from an Oracle employee and friend. The issue was that the name of my OPA project had spaces. Once I deleted the spaces and made the name without any spaces the interview ran and worked well.
Thanks for the update. Could you share the project name that was failing? We have many projects with spaces working just fine...would love to get to the bottom of why it wasn't working in your case.

I think the issue was related to the fact that I used a " # "... I named the project something like "Project Test #1"...
Thanks, we'll get that fixed.
