No certifications have been done yet against IMS V12.
Oracle Tuxedo Mainframe Adapter (a.k.a TMA) for TCP releases 10,10gR3,11gR1, and 12cR1 have all been certified against both IMS V10 and IMS V11.
The version of IMS that TMA TCP has been executed against is not mentioned in our knowledge base(i.e. no IMS V12 reference).
If you wish for a certification to be done please contact Tuxedo Product Management.
Thanks for response, can you tell me what is the best way to contact Tuxedo Product Management.
Tuxedo engineering said that, because IBM ensures backward compatibility, they do not foresee a problem for you running the current Tuxedo TMA TCP binaries with IMS V12.
If you wish to have a formal certification done for IMS V12:
please open a service request providing contact and platform information (a common usage architecture description would help)
also please provide target milestone/s for when the certification needs to be completed by
Tuxedo support will then pass that on to product management. Tux PM will discuss it with engineering, to see if it can be accomplished in the time frame you need, and contact you.
Thanks for response, I opened a service request to ask for the formal certification.
