Yes, but my question specific to NUMA based hardware whether any specific tuning is needed to improve performance. For example, i read from the doc that i should set thread twice as number of available processor, but i was told that in NUMA based thread number has to be same as available processor or less. If you have any specific tuning for NUMA and Hyper threading server please send it to me.
NUMA based machines are not the best fit for directory server due to the underlying locking strategy used.
It is in general not good policy to use too much (worker) threads, 30 to 50 is in general OK, unless there are specific SLAs but the numbers specified in the tuning guide are not related to NUMA hardware.
In some specific deployments under heavy load, pinning the slapd process to a specific CPU might be a better option than trying to use every processors
When closing a thread as answered remember to mark the correct and helpful posts to make it easier for others to find them

There is a discussion on the challenges of NUMA with ODSEE, and some suggested tuning starting points in the knowledge article:

Thanks, however i could not find this doc when i logged into Support site because it seems meant for internal doc.
