I think you can get what you're after if you create a html table that looks like a keypad or whatever you want it to look like and make it visible via a dynamic action only when you click on the password field. And the table itself has a onclick to set the value of the password field.
Be sure to make the password field readonly so the mobile's device keyboard does not popup.
PS: I know my keypad looks crappy..
Ty for the anwser
Altough Im looking if its possible to turn on "Number" keyboard on the phone itself. If you understand what I mean.
Something like this on the right!
Then you can create your own html input field and give it type="tel"
something like: <input type="tel" name="DEMO_1" size="40" maxlength="100" value="" id="DEMO_1">
Try the demo page again.
TY So MUCH!!!!
Can you just give me the process of how you did it on that field. Where did you enter the code? (Im really bad with adding html in my applications ,:)
Just add the code in any html region or region footer or anywhere you want. I have added it in the originals field post element text with some >br>'s
Ty! I've managed to make it.
What Im wondering now is how can I add that code to my text field that I already have on my page. ( I dont want to create new one )
Cause I already have some processes that are dealing with the value of my item ( Its a password field ).
Just execute on page load the below line:
Execute as what?
You might have misunderstood me. All I want to do is somehow add this line of code - <input type="tel"/> - to my password field.
Is there any place in item options where I can add it?
TY so so much!!
You really helped me a lot !
