How are you building the CSV file? If it is from an Export of an Interactive Report, the download name is based upon the region title... For a classic report, under the Report Export section, there is a file name property that you can build a filename with the current system date..
Thank you Tony for your response. My report is non interactive, however I have created a hidden item and in the default value I have given to_char(sysdate,'DDMMYYY') and using the item in report export section as &P111_DATEV. including other item there its look like &P111_STATUS._&P111_DATEV.
here P111_STATUS is coming from URL state.
as a result I am getting RED_.csv only there is no date is coming against &P111_DATEV.
It should work if you have an Onload before header computation for P111_DATEV and set the value to what ever you want. And just leave the item Source and Default properties blank.
Thanks Mihai, I have tried to add onload before header computation and leave the Source and Default properties blank but still result is same :-( .
Then i think you'r not setting it properly can you replycate it on a demo workspace or somethign so i can login to see?
Hello Mihai, Not able to replicate this into demo workspace but adding the screen shots here for your reference.
Aah not able to insert images here :-(
Thanks any way I have managed the same and its working fine now using the same method :-)
