    How to access Enkitec-navbar plugin CSS files from database file directory

      Apex  4.2.3.00.08

      Enkitec-navbar-1-2-0-for-4-2

      Hi i am facing the same issue as : https://community.oracle.com/thread/2563229

      Enkitec Navbar vertical list appears momentarily before it is being formatted by the CSS and the appears correct.

      This is really anoying and makes the pages look stupid. This problem is identified as a performance issue and can be solved by putting the Plugin supporting files in file directories instead of in the database.

      I have created a directory on the database server: D:\102175\Kav\Plugin

      I have created a database Directory pointing to the file directory:

      CREATE OR REPLACE directory PLUGIN AS 'D:\102175\Kav\Plugin'

      GRANT READ ON DIRECTORY PLUGIN TO PUBLIC;

      GRANT READ ON DIRECTORY PLUGIN TO ANONYMOUS;

      GRANT READ ON DIRECTORY PLUGIN TO UTVIKLING;

      I have also copied the plugin supporting files CSS etc. to the file directory.

      In the Apex plugin I have changed the "File Prefix" from #PLUGIN_PREFIX# to D:\102175\Kav\Plugin

      Now all the Navbar formatting are gone and the Navbar now only appears as a vertical list.

      I have also tried to use PLUGIN as "File Prefix" same thing.

      I am no Apex or Web expert so I am certain there is something I have misunderstood.

      Hope some of you are able to help me out.

      Sincerely

      Arild
