The parameter in EPMSystemRegistry actually is changing to the schema name of specific product. For example, when I re-configure hfm, it chnaged to hyphfm schema. When I re-configured EPMA, it changed to hypepma so on. I thought it should be constant schema which is foundation/shared services.
Are you sure you selected correct schema while re-configuring...
Sounds like either the original configuration was incorrect or the reconfiguration has not been carried out correctly, it might be worth running an epm registry report and checking the database information and then checking the schemas contain the correct information, also start up say shared services and check the log for further information.
Thanks for the reply. We re-configured shared services. We were able to start it and login and can see all the old data. But, when we re-configured say Reporting, the EPMSystemRegistry username/schema is changing to reporting schema. Shared services now not coming up until we modified it manually to shared services schema. This is happening every time we re-configure a product. Schema is changing to that of the product we re-configured in last step. And shared services not coming up.
Did you checked the configtool.log to check whats happening behind the scene...
In this case I hope you Re-Configured the Foundation Schema with the option "ConfigTool.bat -enableRegTask or Re-Naming the reg.properties file rite. Please confirm
Yeah i think you have renamed your properties file which basically contains your database and username details.
