This plugin is essentially a wrapper around the Fullcalendar JQuery plugin.
For date formatting please see the Fullcalendar documentation
To set the column format for each of the "views" you supply the column format object with the desired formats.
week: 'ddd d/M',
day: 'dddd d/M'
There is also a setting for the days of the week to show.
thanks for your reply. I have changed the .js file to change the date format - worked perfectly.
But providing users the option by clicking a check box to hide or unhide Saturday and Sunday is still unanswered. The solution you suggested won't work in my case. I was wondering if the suggested solution in the following thread would be possible to use with the calendar plugin?
By default the calendar shows the event date. Is it possible to show the event duration as well? I am using the following query as region source.
NULL AS ID,
DATA.DISPLAY_NAME AS TITLE,
'false' AS ALL_DAY,
TO_CHAR(DATA.START_DATE, 'YYYY-MM-DD"T"HH24:MI:SS') AS START_DATE,
TO_CHAR(DATA.END_DATE, 'YYYY-MM-DD"T"HH24:MI:SS') AS END_DATE,
NULL AS URL,
NULL AS CLASS_NAME
You can customize the HTML that is output by modifying the plugin code or you can just add the duration to the TITLE.
If you are showing the Week mode of the calendar the duration is displayed graphically.
Thanks, I am able to show duration as part of the title.
One more question is that the duration of my events is very short sometimes say 2 minutes. So, the bar shown in the day mode is very thin and user cannot see how long was the session. Can we show the title as a hint or popup when we hover our mouse on a particular time slot?
You could further modify the plugin to accept a new column and then add this as a TITLE attribute to some node in the HTML. Or you could do something with a dynamic action using the built in hover event
I'm sure there are others but these two seem simple enough.
