You might need to add the CA certificate into Trusted Keystore so that when weblogic sever loads you self signed certificate it can validate its issuer based on CA certificate in the Trusted Keystore.
Let me know if this helps.
Also can you please post the error messages you see.
I used the java standard trust, and added the CA certificate into the trusted keystore. However, that did not work for me.
I am still getting the error when running weblogic: Identity Certificate is not yet valid
Can you try to add it to the Weblogic Trust KeyStore. Which is refereed in Admin Console [Servers > SERVER_NAME > Keystore] Trust section. You can find the path where the keystore is located from there. By default weblogic uses DemoTrust.jks out of the box. It is recommended to replace this DemoTrust.jks with your own Trust keystore with only certificates you trust in Production environment.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for the reply. I already tried that, however it did not work, so I tried different settings which failed as well. However according to my coworker, https is working fine. It seems I had to restart the server, or define a class path to solve the issue.
Since I made too many changes, I have to repeat this to identify which steps actually solved the issue. I assume what you have said should solve the issue.
thanks and have a nice day.
