Can you be more specific? Do you mean the following in the XML Search and Replace tool:
After: "Member ASA Input Effective Date"
I would try this
replace CSM_MBR_ASA_INP_EFF_DT_NEW to some unique text and then work with
CSM_MBR_ASA_INP_EFF_DT then come back to unique text to CSM_MBR_ASA_INP_EFF_DT_NEW
Something like swapping
I have 450 columns to change. That's too much work. I can do this in Notepad++ using the " suggestion above. I was trying to use the OOB tool.
Yes. Simply try it out on one single object and then check the XML of the object. You'll see nicely how and where the search and replace happens and where in the XML you have literal " double-quotes and where you have the " encoding. Changes from place to place if it's a reference to an object like a presentation table or column or when the quotes are in a text like a header or in a path reference.
OOB catalog will do it just fine. As I just wrote in the other post, just watch out where and what gets changed.
