Taking a two tier ADF Swing/JClient app. that connects to an Oracle database via JDBC and deploying it to a three tier JBoss/Tomcat server.
We have written a two tier ADF Swing/JClient app. that connects to an Oracle database via JDBC and would like to see the benefits/drawbacks of the same app. running in a three tier environment. I.e. differences in managability, deployment process, scalabily, performance, etc.
JClient 2/3 tiers => Good choice!
+ exception handling differences
I would like to see a working ADF/Struts 1.2.x application, migrated from JDev 10.1.2 to JDev 10.1.3
+1 on the ADF Swing/JClient application in 2/3 tier mode. More emphasis on 2-tier mode, however. Maybe with a model of ADF BC and TopLink.
I would like to see how to integrate ADF faces application with forms security using a database backend and/or LDAP backend.
ADF Swing application in 2/3 tier mode. Architecture TopLink, EJB x WS - > alternate JSP and Swing.
