I don't really understand your question but I'll have a guess. Is your problem that you've got 3 reports on a dashboard and a dashboard prompt should only affect 1 (or some) of the reports/analyses? If so you can go into the analysis that you don't want to be filtered and set the filter condition to be 'protected' (in the setting when you set up or edit the filter) which will stop it from being affected by dashboard prompts.
1.It looks like you could use the "Combine Similar request"
2.Use The same SubjectArea 3 times, plug in your corresponding filters.
3. Throw in the Pivot table
4. Do your calculation (%)
I would like to build Report 1 analysis and Report 3 analysis together as one report with 2 different columns.
One column should reflect with few prompts.
Another column should reflect with few other prompts.
Report 1 Column: Total Number of Employees (Formulae: Count(Employee id) ) Prompts used: Hire Date Result Got: 2
Report 3 Column: Total Number of Employees worked only 2 jobs with job type (Formuale: Count(Employee id)) Filters used: Count(Employee id) =2 and Hire Date prompted and Job type Prompted. Result: 1
But user looking for Layout as : Report 3 Result Column , Report 1 Result column, Report 3/ Report 1 Result column
I tried using Filter function but it is not working it doesn't reflect the results. As, Report 3 is Grouped by Employee id. Where as for Report 1 we dont require group by.
Is there any other option - to store the results of report1 and report 3 in different variables or bringing results to another report.
