I had these bookmarked...
I'm not sure if this is 100% "Official"....
Rest Api V 1
Rest Api V2.0
From what I can tell base off my recent conversation today with support is that the rest api is not really supported and the soap api support is going to be discontinued in October 2015.
Thanks for the links, KC! Their documentation definitely needs to be vastly improved:( It's really bad in comparison to some other email service providers' documentation.
You can access the REST API live docs after logging into Eloqua as a user. Live docs provide more up-to-date endpoint details than the static docs.
The base url is the first part of the URL after you logged into your Eloqua application. To retrieve your base URL programmatically, you can follow the instructions here: http://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/marketingcs_gs/OMCAB/index.html#Developers/GettingStarted/Tutorials/determining-base…
The OMC support team is unable to assist with custom codes; however, they can provide guidance on supported operations and confirm any technical issues on the APIs.
Hope this helps!
Any reason the docs are not available since yesterday?
I receive "An error has occurred" for both 1.0 and 2.0, regardless of base url (have tried Pod 1 and 3).
Meaning that Eloqua has discontinued the live docs without notice?
It's very unfortunate that none of all the other documentations, guidelines and posts provide a similar functionality, i.e. the quick test of endpoints.
To be honest, I find it quite a big concern that it seems the live documentation has been discontinued without any notice. This was the only way to quickly check the endpoints, without having to write code to be able to do a simple check.
Do you have any information on the live docs, and if they are still available in some way?
Another +1 on missing the Live docs. These were fantastic for quickly checking endpoints and data. For them to disappear without warning is disappointing.
The official documentation for our APIs can be found here http://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/marketingcs_gs/OMCAB/index.html.
The live docs have not been deprecated or discontinued, as they have never been supported or maintained. They are an internal tool and not intended for access by clients.
We are looking into a bug that has caused them to be inaccessible, but please note that even if the bug is fixed, these are still not supported or maintained, and if used, it's at your own risk.
