did you run adcfgclone on DB tier?
No. normally I should be able to startup nomount. and enter sqlplus. I export these first:
- 1. Export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/oracle/PREPROD/db/11.2.0
- 2. Export ORACLE_SID=PREPROD
- 3. Export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$PATH
- 4. Export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib
as you are copying ORACLE_HOME from Source to target, either you have to relink again or adcfgclone. adcfgclone will recreate home according to new server and directory structure. Sometime only copying will work but some times you will face errors. So I would suggest you always use adcfgclone
