You might check the SV sheet info to see if the worksheet still contains Metadata from the other environment.
Another idea, have you checked the embedded XML in the excel file? Add .zip to the file name, open the zip folder, examine contents for xml, etc...
I am on 220.127.116.11. of HFM and this is what i did to get rid of the error
Please clear the USERPARAMS table for one of the problematic user and see if that helps.
Note**: Please take a backup of the database before proceeding the actions below.
1) Ask the user to logoff from HFM, Workspace, SharedServices if any related to Hyperion.
2) Run the below mentioned query in your SQL Server of HFM database
Execute the below query on HFM database:
SELECT * FROM <appname>_USERPARAMS WHERE Username like '<username>@%'
(Replace <appname> with Application Name, <username> with the problamatic user name)
Now run the DELETE query
DELETE FROM <appname>_USERPARAMS WHERE Username like '<username>@%'
(Which deletes all the saved parameters from the database)
3) Ask the user to login and check whether he is still getting the error message.
More than likely their POV is corrupted. Below is a solution that worked for us (18.104.22.168). We just tried it today.
Have the user follow the following steps:
1. Log in to workspace and open the HFM Application.
2. Open an existing data grid
3. From workspace, select the option to open in smartview (Actions > Smart View)
This will open that same data grid in excel utilizing the POV selected through workspace and that should clear any POV corruption.
