It there currently a known problem with mission badges not applying?
I acquired the 2000 points Systems Guru mission, but so far it has not shown in the overall point statistics or in the forum leaderboard. The status hasn't changed for the last 4 days. The post that completed the badge was yum broken, in case you need more info for troubleshooting - I know for sure, because I was not participating in other system forum spaces until that mission completed.
Zooming the browser with the search box open doesn't zoom correct, nor keep the search box fully on the screen (IE 11, haven't tested other browsers)
Normal zoom (100%), then click on search:
looks ok, but then whilst search is open, zoom out to 75%...
a) the search box has pushed off the right side of the window and
b) the page content itself has pushed to the right, giving an unwanted left margin
If, instead, I zoom out to 75% before opening the search box
the content is not pushed to the right, and then if I open the search...
the search box is positioned ok based on my current page.
It seems the search box badly effects the browsers ability to zoom in/out, which I suspect will be to do with the CSS somehow (I don't have time to investigate in depth at that level)
Same thing happens on Chrome.
Dude! that does not sound like a known issue but I can help troubleshoot. Which leaderboard are you expecting that 2000 points to show up on? The main Systems page doesn't seem to have a leaderboard for some weird reason.
(Oh and congrats!! I think that makes you the first Systems Guru right??)
When trying to invite people to a private group via their display name I am not able to click send once I've found their display name and chosen it. I've tried one at a time and as a group. moniquevdb-Oracle is aware of this, but wondering if anyone else is having this same issue. I am on a Mac using Firefox 48.
I'm not a real fan of the concept that mission badges, which spawn across several forums, add to the leaderboard of that particular forum that happens to be the post to complete the badge, but unless anything has changed, that should should be the Oracle Linux forum. I think that pretty much introduces a disadvantage to people who participate in several forums of a certain category. Actually I thought I posted an idea about that recently, but I can't find it anymore. Anyway, completing said mission did not add any points anywhere and does not reflect on my profile, even thought the badge finally shows up as completed a couple of days past the event. So I guess something isn't working like it should, or as it worked before.
handat, I see the same when I look at my "News". The first 3 show ok, the next 3 just show the word "in" like yours, and then the next couple show ok.
Definitely a problem there.
Just now, i voted to an idea from inbox, and I clicked on another idea thread in box, which i didn't voted, but it is showing i already voted.
But if I refresh the inbox, then it shows the correct message.
Aside from the known issue:
- Reputation entries in profile no longer give links to the related content, or link to wrong posts
also in relation to what the reputation shows, it used to show when the reputation was gained e.g. "1 day ago" or "2 weeks ago" etc.
That information no longer seems to be shown, though it is information that is useful for people who want to see which reputation was gained recently, and which is older.
Screenshot (user anonymised) showing how it used to be in the reputation:
Now, they are missing the thread link at the top, and the "21 hours ago" part:
Strangely though, the "Judgemental Judy" and "Forget-me-not" reputations from TopLiners still show the thread link, though other reputations (Topliners and other communities) are not, and none show "when" it happened.
Yes, I was re-iterating the known issue, and saying that my issue here is in addition (but related) to the same.
The "Nice to See You" mission seems to be stuck at the same percent complete as it has been for some time.
Perhaps I just don't understand exactly how it works (I usually log in to MOS, then click the community tab there to open up the community screen). So maybe those don't count? Or maybe some other detail of how that one works is unclear to me.
