    Software Update can't fetch one update (clean install)

      Clean installation 7.3 on VirtualBox and the second time I try a clean installation. Same problem.

      So this one package wont download during a manual "Software Update" session in GUI:

      Development package for building kernel modules to match the kernel

      Errors were encountered while downloading packages.

      kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

          1  yum clean

          2  sudo yum clean

          3  sudo yum clean packages

          4  sudo yum clean dbcache

          5  sudo yum update

          6  sudo yumdownloader http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL7/latest/x86_64/getPackage/kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm

          7  ping yum.oracle.com

          8  history

      $ Yum update

      - returns the same error.

      $ YumDownloader

      - returns:

      No Match for argument http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL7/latest/x86_64/getPackage/kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm

      Nothing to download

      $ wget http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL7/latest/x86_64/getPackage/kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm

      - fetches the package.

      $ rpm -ivh kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm

      error: kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm: Header V3 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID ec551f03: BAD

      error: kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm cannot be installed

      To get around this and I trust the package I try with nogpgcheck

         15  sudo yum install --nogpgcheck kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64.rpm

      But that just messes up my "Software Update" client and leaves a half installed package. To fix the cache I cleanup.

         17  sudo yum-complete-transaction

         21  yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only

         22  sudo yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only

      Now I'm back to not being able to install this package though the GUI "Software Update" and terminal yum, like I was at the start of the session.

      Help me smarties. I'm a semi decent Debian user and this is my first venture into Oracle Linux.
