Resolved. Quiet tricky.
As a note, after signing up for a trial cloud account, an email containing various URLs (account, services, etc) is sent to the email used to register. The email also includes the username (which is defaulted to the email address) and temporary password to access the account. As a matter of fact, I am able to provision various services without issue - Database as a cloud service on both 11g and 12c, Java Cloud service on Weblogic 11 and 12. However, the validation error only come up when provisioning SOA instance.
1. I logged on with my administrator details as sent in the Welcome email
2. Navigate to My Services
3. Click on Users tab
4. Added New User using my alternative email, deselect 'use email as username' checkbox, supply a username without special character
5. I used this detail in provisioning the SOA instance.
And this works.
Please can you put some screenshots ? I cant reply your solution.
You need to create storage admin credential in My Services->Users. Make sure new user created is assigned with Storage Admin role in Advanced section.
