It seems that Chained Agent executions are not captured in S_NQ_INSTANCE table.
I can only see rows related to Agents which were executed manually or in scope of enabled schedule.
This looks like a major flaw, because Agent chains a used very extensively and without the possibility to track these executions it immediately becomes very difficult to handle exceptions and gather actual execution statistics.
I'm using Oracle Business Intelligence 18.104.22.168.0 but it seems that this issue has been around for quite some time.
In order to reproduce it, simple create 2 simple agents and make one trigger another via "Actions" tab. Then you will see that S_NQ_INSTANCE doesn't have any records related to the execution of the Action-triggered Agent.
Only if you re-run it manually or schedule it S_NQ_INSTANCE will contain corresponding records.
Does anyone know if there is a workaround and if this is going to be fixed anytime soon?
