I heard that There are two ways to accomplish parallel
executions in ODI:
Call ODI scenarios in asynchronous mode (using an ODI procedure or ODI
run scenario from tool box) or create parallel steps in Load Plans and assign
any number of ODI scenarios under each parallel step.
Is it possible to implement both ways or it does not make sense to go with load plan if achieved through asynchronous mode or vice versa?
Load plan allows to execute scenarios based on conditions (using variables), and is much more simple to design.
Also, Load plans allows to setup exception steps.
So using load plans has many advantages, comparing to executing the scenarios from a package.
