That's a very good question and I am glad I found you asking it. I just realized that our cell phone modems we use in the field have a hard coded DYN DNS servers in the setup. We have to use the DYN.COM since every time the cell modem gets power failed, it retrieves a new "static IP - what a joke" that it will hold until the next power cycle. Now I have to see if I can move to one of the others in the list in the next 9 months and start migrating the modem on EVERY system we have around the world....Crap.
What is this "hard coded DYN DNS servers"? If it is DYN.COM, then this is not the update server anyway.
