To do this, log into the Launchpad as an administrator, go into Administration - Users, edit the user account, specify a new password and confirm it, and to make the user specify a new password when they next log in tick the Force Password Change box.

Yes, We have this option and it works.
Earlier we use to reset password without using the force password change. Do we have any alternative solution without using force or do I need to check any logs for this weird behaviour?
