Hello, it occurs to me that you can create a DATABASE LINK between your two databases, with this link perform the operations it requires.
I hope this idea helps.
Thank you for your response.
How about bidirectional automatic sync between the two databases. For any changes such as inserts/update/delete table row level will it be automatically synced to the other db without using triggers.
If you have an EE edition and want to copy all data to an XE one you will prbably hit the XE storage limit...
I have basically the same question.
I have sales people that have Oracle XE on their laptops that are not always connected to the central Oracle 12c DB server.
The sales personnel have a .net app i developed running on the front end.
I would like to implement on demand replication so that when they click on the Sync button in my .net app 2 things happen.
1) Data inserts/updates/deletes from sales personnel db (XE) is sent to central Oracle 12c DB server.
2) Data inserts/update/deletes from central Oracle 12c DB server is sent to Sales personnel (XE).
964914 have you had any success in getting any information.
