So I changed the Region template to use #REGION_STATIC_ID# and set the Static id in the region definition - this worked fine. Next, I modified the Report template for PPR to use #REGION_STATIC_ID#, but at runtime this resolves to a blank! I assumed it would pick up the static ID for the region it was in. Is this a bug or am I just not understanding the way it is supposed to work?
along with getElementsByClass(searchClass,node,tag)
And just to show you I'm not kidding I updated on of my examples that uses the PPR report call
As you can see it grabs the static id I give the region and then grabs the report table for it's id then uses that.
I think that you forgot to update otn_examples.zip, there is still old code
can you fix that, ot maybe I'm wrong.
Have tried following your example in my application but i just cannot get it working.
When you call the function getElementsByClass('standard',lGrab,'TABLE'); what do standard and TABLE relate to? Do i need to substitute them with something else?
Hi Carl, I am getting JS error "gNode is null or not an object" and the report doesn't refresh - any idea what that might be, I think I saw the same error with your example when I changed to 1 sec and then hit "Click to Refresh report" - both times shows line 200 char 5. Using IE6.
