Data comes from the OID and deeper from the database. there are tables starting with RTC.
But I don't think that that's going on. Did you try to restart the RTC process?
That should have been a no-brainer, but I hadn't done it yet. Restarting RTC seems to have fixed the problem with Lost Contacts.
We too faced the similar problem with messenger with the contacts missing suddenly, and by restarting the imrtr process the issue got resolved. I tried checking for the root cause for the problem and found that one of the OCS DB instance in RAC went down but I m not sure whether this could be the cause
Did you find out any reasons why the messenger contacts were missing in your environment?
