Did you confirm whether session binding is creating issues?
There is a secion in the doc, that discusses this issue: "Session Binding Not Working in An OracleAS Forms Services Configuration" under "Troubleshooting"
I am not giving any solution to your issue rather seeking your help.
I have setup 2 Apps servers version (10.1.3.0) apps1.mysite.com:7777 and apps2.mysite.com:7777 and the url for application is as following:
I have installed and setup one webcache version (10.1.2.1) wc.mysite.com:7777
Can you help me how I can configure these two apps servers with webcache. I am very confused with origin server and site definition. I have gone over to some docs but still Dont know how to configure the above apps servers and applications with the webcache. As you have already done it so i am looking some help from you. What to define in Origin Server and what to define in Site Definitions and how I can access my application through webcache.
Do you have a copy of my Discoverer 10g Handbook? While pages 803 to 808 specifically discuss setting up Discoverer to run in a load balanced environment using WebCache, I believe the principles are the same for Forms and Reports.
I'm unable to print all of the instructions here because there are too many. However, you've got to go into the WebCache Manager. Typically this is launched from port 4000 as follows:
You'll have to provide a username and password (user = ias_admin) then the option to configure Origin Servers can be found on the left hand side of the screen. Likewise you should also find Site Definitions in the same place.
I hope this helps
I have Discoverer 10g Handbook. Great stuff !!!!
