We have the same problem.
With some domains, emails come back with 501 #5.5.2 syntax error 'rcpt to:<firstname.lastname@example.org> ' with the trail space.
In the es_header table the address is written whitout the space, but maybe the space is added during the sending process.
Any help appreciated.

Same problem here, only with one domain.
All other emails to other domains work without a problem.
I do compose the email without any spaces at the end, but when i send it i get an error message back, and suddenly there's a space at the end of the email address;
