    dbca and emctl error

    juan_m_quiroz
      I installed oracle 10g on 10.4.11 xserve g5, powerpc g5 (3.0), RackMac3.1, 2 cpu, 2.3 GHz, 512 KB L2 Cache (per cpu), 4 GB, 1.15 GHz bus speed, 5.1.7f2 Boot ROM Version.

The database is up but emctl and dbca are giving me java errors.

I could use your help on this one. I have an SR with oracle but so far there is no solution. I have more problems but the original I wanted to solved is to be able to get to the Maintenance tab of the Enterprise Manager and schedule backup and jobs which I cannot because of an IOException error I get.
I really appreciate any advice at all. thanks in advance.
