I need to change the default text of #MESSAGE# in APEX 3.1, is this possible?
I understand that APEX always displays the text "X error has occurred" and then presents the text I wrote in the "Error Message" of the validation I've created, for example, like this:
+"1 error has occurred+
+- Validation Error Message"+
All I want to do is changing the text "X error has occurred" to something else...
I've searched this question in the forum but I didn't find any thread answering it. If it exists can you indicate it to me?
Or if it doesn't, can you help?

In your Aplication go to Shared Components --> Text Messages --> Create
Text: <the text you want to show in your notifications, like "Atention!" or something>
Your notifications will, from now on, have this text plus the validation error text.
Yes, here is what I put in:
Name Language Text Last Updated By Date
FLOW.SINGLE_VALIDATION_ERROR en-us The following error(s) have occurred: BONDURS 57 minutes ago
FLOW.SINGLE_VALIDATION_ERROR en The following error(s) have occurred: BONDURS 14 minutes ago
row(s) 1 - 2 of 2
Maybe my default language is not what I think it is????
Hum, I think that is not the problem but I'm not sure, I'm not an expert :).
Maybe check another thing:
In the template of your page, in the notification area, you should be using the #MESSAGE# string.
Is it there?
PS: btw, if you want to check the manual, this part is on Application Builder User’s Guide, Release 3.1.2, E10499-02 page 16-14.
In your template page you have definition part (with header, body and footer) and the subtemplate part (with the Success Message, Navigation Bar, Navigation Bar Entry, Notification ) and then the Standard Tab Attributes, etc...
In this subtemplate part (Notification) you should have some text with the #MESSAGE# string.
If the #MESSAGE# string is there, check your Application primary language (globalization + edit attributes).
It should be the same you're using in your text message (if it's different change the text message language or change the application primary language if it's not the right one).

Thanks for being patient with me on this. I'm still learning.
Yes, the #MESSAGE# string does exist in the subtemplate under Notification. Also, my application primary language is en-us. And, I have FLOW.SINGLE_VALIDATION_ERROR set to en-us with the following message: The following error(s) have occurred:
But it's still not working....
:) Since I'm no expert on this either, maybe it's better for you to create a new thread, explaining all the things you have tried and saying you still have the problem.
I'm really sorry I couldn't help but maybe it's some problem with the Apex configurations...
Someone in the forum will find you a solution, for sure.
(And I'll be following your thread too so next time I can help someone else with the same problem :))
