The information you have provided is insufficient.
One essential item you are missing is -srcusr.
Also make sure you always use fully qualified names for example your source name is not fully qualified.
i tried using -srcuser and i am getting the following error message
avorcldb add_collector -srcname ORCLDB -agentname ORADB_AGENT -colltype REDO -srcuser av_user -av oraods.domain.com:1532:ORCL.WORLD
unrecognized argument -srcuser was ignored
unrecognized argument av_user was ignored
collector REDO_Collector for source ORCLDB already exists
initializing REDO Collector
ERROR: could not get AV source user connection using jdbc:oracle:oci:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=oraods.domain.com)(PORT=1532))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=ORCL.WORLD)))
ERROR: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
I've exatcly the same problem.
Can anybody help us?
Try SRCUSR without the "E".
You don`t need use the usr parameter to add a REDO COLLECTOR.
Im working hard to solve this error but I haven´t got any results.
i tried with -SRCUSR without -SRCUSR, no luck. getting the same error message
if this connect string -av oraods.domain.com:1532:ORCL.WORLD describe connection to source databese , it's wrong becouse you must describe av database connection string
( [-av <host:port:service>] The connection information for Audit Vault used for the database link from the source database to Audit Vault. This argument is required if the -colltype argument is REDO; otherwise, this argument is optional. )
