I searched the forums and oracle documentation but could not find specific documentation on configuring and deploying single sign-on (SSO) in WCI 10g R3. I found the documentation for ALUI 6.1 but not for 10g R3. Appreciate if anyone can provide the same.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for:

You can find this article on Metalink.oracle.com. Just enter the Doc ID in the "Search Knowledge Base field" at the top right, after you log in.
Thanks Ryan for providing this helpful document link. It lists how to configure SSO using WIA and however does not lists other options like the 3rd party tools that we can use for SSO in WCI 10gR3.
The documentation that I have for ALUI 6.1 is http://edocs.bea.com/alui/ali/docs61/admin/sso.html#wp1040737 it lists out all options that we can use to configure SSO in 6.1, not sure if it has changed much in 10gR3.
Besides MS WIA, we support the integration of Netegrity Siteminder and Oblix (now Oracle Identity management solutions) against WCI. The 10GR3 administration guide has a section on "Deploying Single Sign-On" and "Common SSO questions" which might be a good starting point:
However it seems to lacking on info in deploying (error I believe), so check out the Portal 6.1 admin guide here:
Towards the bottom of the above link you'll also see info about using BasicSSO and CustomSSO to connect to other nonsupported Third-party SSO providers. And I think this KB below may still be relavent although old.
