I'm not sure to understand what you are trying to achieve. The delivered database does not need any extra script to be run.
Or maybe you want to use it for specific needs (gpcesys.dms is used for Global Payroll Country Extension) ? In that case, you may have to install an extra Windows client to run specific additional script. Note, the Peoplesoft OVM installation are the bare minimum necessary to be used in the most of cases.
Yup, I needed to run gpcesys.dms for Global Payroll Country Extension. Since I can't find the dms I'm looking for in Linux OS of PSOVM, I just installed HRMS9.1 in the windows clients. Now I can see the file in the $PS_HOME/scripts in the Windows client. I run that script using DMS and it runs successfully.
Did I do the right thing?

I'm almost done with my PSOVM installation. Only one issue left. I hope you could also answer my thread about
