            simply list all the update functions between the update tags. it is just like you are working directly on the database.

            <update>
            update statement 1
            update statement 2
            update statement 3
            update statement 4
            </update>

                Actually you can update multiple columns in the same update statement; just like you would in a standard sql update statement.
