As far as I can remember that was a feature that got thrown in during the Version 7 stream and it was removed from the system shortly thereafter. i believe it was a requirement for one specific customer that ended up causing more problems than helping.
We tried this feature back when it was first implemented (we might have been "the customer") and it was absolutely terrible. Never worked and was abandoned. We use a company dedicated to providing bridges now, CCA can't handle it for some reason.
