There is an online Oracle documentations on http://tahiti.oracle.com so it would be better for you to first refer to that site and search for the relevant documentation topics for your unknown Oracle version.
Meaning remains the same. UNRECOVERABLE has been deprecated(It is there only for backward compatibility) and it has been replaced by NOLOGGING.
